Somerset is currently locking in camps for 2011 and with some reshuffling of previously busy weeks; we have dates available that may suit your school!

Somerset caters for a wide range of Outdoor Education Experiences for all age groups. These include day programmes for the younger grades, focusing on camp skills; year 5 over night camps, introducing youngsters to the great outdoors; junior school expeditions, incorporating a night at base camp and a night on expedition; middle and senior school journey based expeditions, staying at remote wilderness campsites; and travelling through the Colo Valley on foot, by canoe or donutting!

Somerset owns over 500 acres and has licensed access to the nearby Wollemi National Park and other offsite locations. We are also able to provide a variety of Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions for Bronze, Silver or Gold Practices and Tests.

Somerset is also closely linked with Encompass Outdoors, a provider in independent outdoor activities, facilitation and professionally planned sequential programmes. Encompass Outdoors' range of products is limited to your imagination, however some of our popular programmes are Leadership camps, One Day Activity programmes and Environment Awareness camps. Or are you looking for something to occupy your year 10 students between the School Certificate and the end of year? Try the increasingly popular Urban Challenge, perfect for the grade to finish off the year before embarking on the HSC.
