As we enter the cooler months at Somerset it’s time to get busy with some needed TLC of the camp by taking this opportunity to tackle a large portion of our maintenance projects.

We are working on refurbishing the Cookhouse in Somerset Field to make it an even better meeting and dining area. We’re developing the old Millers site, so we can incorporate the bush cooking site and enable students to interact with the history of the Valley in the old ruins left there.

With the erecting of a secondary Archery Range out at Peach Tree, groups will be able to enjoy a wider choice of activities throughout our property.

And for the continued comfort of all our guests, a shipment of new tents has arrived for the beginning of the new season in August. We pride ourselves in updating and renewing all our equipment as often as needed.
