Somerset is an organisation, established for 30 years, which strives to be at the forefront of Industry Best Practice.
We are one of only a handful of organisations in Australia to have achieved the coveted Organisational Accreditation issued by the Outdoor Recreation Industry Council of NSW. This accreditation process involves an independent assessment of operating and administrative systems, staffing, safety management and programme outcomes by a panel of industry experts.  
Furthermore, Somerset maintains Accreditation under the National Accreditation of Tourisim and Accommodation (NARA), as well as Hire and Drive licensing for all of its Canoes through NSW Maritime, and a Commercial Operators License from the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
Somerset is also a member of the International Camping Fellowship.
