Traineeship Positions
Traineeship in Cert III & IV in Outdoor Leadership

  • Regular income whether working, training or on leave
  • Subsidised onsite accommodation & meals included whilst on camp programs
  • Guaranteed employment, ongoing training, mentorship & income for 3 years
  • Just finished your Cert III? Join us to complete your Cert IV and work and gain experience at the same time

Full-Time Group Leader Positions : Available Semester 1 & 2, 2026! 6 or 12 mth fixed-term blocks
Qualified and Experienced Group Leaders can expect:
  • Competitive Remuneration (paid as hourly rates)
  • Earn more than $30,000 per Semester 
  • All meals, accommodation, equipment, uniform and first aid kit whilst on programs
  • Subsidised onsite accommodation if required between programs (includes van amenities)
  • Operate from one base camp located within 60km of Sydney CBD
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing training
  • To join an industry leading team and provider
    Candidates must:
  • Be eligible to work in Australia
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation or Equivalent 
  • Able to obtain a current WWCC in NSW
  • Able to obtain a Remote Area Aid Certificate.

Facilities Presentation Team Member - Immediate Start
Camp Somerset has been offering outdoor programs to school students since the early 1980’s. Somerset offers the unique experience of tent camping which presents the opportunity for students to engage in their natural surrounding and a spirit of adventure. Somerset has a great team culture and provides a rewarding environment to be involved in.
Somerset is located on the Colo River approx. 20 minutes from Windsor.

  • Up to 30 hrs per week, M-F
  • Flexibility to attend school drop-off/pick-up
  • Nominal hrs between 9am and 3pm
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
    The Role
  • Presentation and servicing of campsite and hard-top facilities
  • Assist with day-to-day running of School Camp Programs
  • Assist with food services and meal preparation
    The Package
  • Work within an industry-leading team
  • On-the-job training provided
  • Starting hourley rate $32.50 plus Super
  • Obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Have a current NSW Driver Licence
