Skills learnt and experiences gained are also valuable to participants as they emerge from adolescence to adulthood.

Students are self-sufficient, carrying all their gear in a rucksack – approx. weight 10-12kg at Bronze, utilising areas of the Colo Valley and Wollemi National Park. Hiking approx. 14km on uneven terrain, it takes participants along both tracked and undefined trails, traversing ridgelines and descents.
